Saraswati Mata Ki Puja is an important part of the Navaratri festival. <br /><br />Saraswati Mata Ki Puja is observed at different times in different parts of India.<br /><br />1.Saraswati Vandana or Saraswati Poojan is the traditional worship dedicated to the Hindu Goddess of art and wisdom. This four-day long religious event occurs during Navratri Puja.<br /><br /> 2 The procedures of this Vandana includes seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati by worshiping her in the form of musical instruments, religious scriptures and other books.<br /><br /> 3 The first day occurs on Maha Saptami and it starts with Saraswati Avahan. The devout followers install a Pratima or Murti of Goddess Saraswati and invoke the goddess through practicing Prana Pratishtha.<br /><br /> 4 The Maha Saptami is the second day or rather the most important day. This day is commenced by performing Shodashopachara Pooja and Saraswati Pradhan Pooja along with the Vedic Mantras.<br /><br />5 The day of Mahanavami is observed as the third day and it is also called Saraswati Balidan.
